Parenting

Success at work without success at home is meaningless

As we strive for career success, we make many sacrifices. One of the sacrifices we run the risk of making is unintentionally sacrificing our partners and children along the way. When that happens, we discover that, when we want them to enjoy the fruits of our success with us, our families have fallen apart. This causes our success to be hollow and meaningless. You deserve better!

By knowing how to build a secure family and raising well rounded children, you can enhance your success so that it embraces not only your careers but also your families.

Alan Hosking, Editor of HR Future magazine and author of best-selling book What nobody tells a new father (77,000 copies sold), is one of South Africa’s leading authorities on first-time and working parents. His New Generation Parenting Programme helps successful people enhance their success in the corporate world to include success – and happiness – in the home.

Because prevention is better than cure, Alan’s programme is especially aimed at young, successful parents to help them avoid many of the pitfalls of successful parents and enjoy the benefits of a stable, happy home life.

Leadership Renewal

Re-invent your leaders with this world-first leadership intervention

Because people are living longer, they’re working longer either by choice or of necessity. Executives in their late 40s, 50s and 60s are therefore having to compete with people up to 20 years younger than they are.

Younger people have more energy and do not have to contend with the conditions that come with ageing. They do not, however, have the experience and wisdom of their more senior counterparts.

The good news for ageing executives is that, while growing older is inevitable, growing old is optional. There are ways to renew their leadership skills and qualities, and prevent, reduce or reverse the conditions that come with ageing.

HR Future Executive Editor, Alan Hosking, has been working with doctors and other anti-ageing role players for close to ten years and has developed a world-first intervention that assists executives to renew their:

  • bodies;
  • minds;
  • spirits;
  • emotions;
  • relationships;
  • careers; and
  • world view.

If you would like to implement a Leadershiup Renewal Intervention for your leadership team or get more information about it, contact Alan Hosking.
